Aquamarine Round 5 - Bites Your Nails Fella! It's TOO HARD!!

My last post was around not that long, it feels like yesterday! (It is yesterday, you moron!)

Anyway, new post, new review!
Here the match list for International Saimoe League 2012 Aquamarine Period Round 5.
Fyuh, ISML official name is amazingly long...






We have derby in each division. How will it be?
Let's go into my preview and prediction!

First, on the Nova side, we have derby from Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai. The idol, Nakagawa Kanon, againts the silent girl, Shiomiya Shiori. Different in every aspect. Lively and cheerful againts silent and rather gloomy girl. Both haven't fare well in this year ISML. Then again, we haven't gone that long into the season, no? Kanon hasn't gain any victory for the first 3 match. Will this be her first glory? (or maybe second if tomorrow it's turn out that she won her fourth match). Though it's sad to say this, I'm thinking that Shiori will win this one.

The next derby is a huge match. It's between two powerful newbie, or rather 'Super Newbies'. From 'Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai' there will be a match between Kashiwazaki Sena and Hasegawa Kobato. While Sena superiority was predictable, I was really surprised on how well was Kobato doing. But, since I didn't watch the series, I couldn't say much. The match will be quite unpredictable here. I will take my time on ISML Fantasy Vote... But, for who will win, my guess Sena will win this one.

Another big match will also ensues. Not a derby, though. But it's still big. Kousaka Kirino of Ore no Imouto versus Victorique de Blois of GOSICK. Needless to say, both are doing great so far. In fact, their position on the standing is just one rank difference. Whoever win this will throw her opponent down in the rank. This is seriously hard to predict. Maybe... Kirino?

Also a big match! Another last year's Super Newbie from Ore no Imouto, Kuroneko, will be up against what looks like a 'Super Newbie' in the make, Kanzaki H. Aria from Hidan no Aria. Both haven't lost yet, both are aiming for glory. Like the previous match I previewed, the loser of this match will be brought far down the rank. Is Aria really another 'Super Newbie' from 2012? And how will the 'Super Newbie' Kuroneko handle this? In fact, if Aria win this one, then she IS a 'Super Newbie'. My bet? Goes to Kuroneko.

Let's move to Stella, shall we?
CLANNAD's derby right from the first arena of Stella Division. Ichinose Kotomi vs Furukawa Nagisa. Though since I first following ISML they already there and since then always joining each year, their performances this year are below par. Both lost their first 3 match. Therefore, this is maybe their first victory. It must be hard. To gain  the first victory, they need to throw their friend down in the standing. I... Don't want to predict this... But, I think Nagisa will prevail.

Next big match is Suzumiya 'goddess' Haruhi of 'Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu' versus Senjougahara 'tundra' Hitagi of Bakemonogatari. Both are tsundere, but of different kind. I never hear someone who openly call oneself a tsundere. Maybe it's what make Hitagi interesting. Looking at how well Haruhi doing this year, one should wonder, how will this battle turns out. It will be hard indeed, but i think Haruhi will win this.

Next is an amazingly big match. Katsura Hinagiku versus Nagato Yuki. Those two girl never cease to amaze us with their performance. As a really powerful veterans, their power are so immense. And on this year's International Saimoe League, their powers are still not diminishing. We can see how both of them sitting comfortly on the big 3 position. Though by the end of the day, we can say goodbye to one of them. The loser will certainly out from the big 3. Heck, they even get out from the big 10. This is big. This is hard. This is what ISML should be! A match that gives voters a big headache and bites their nails. If I may, I'd say Nagato Yuki will win this one.

A battle between a Magus and a Flame Haze. Tousaka Rin and Shana. Both are known for their red color. Rin love to wear Red sweater (I love that sweater) and Shana's hair turns red when she goes to battles. And both are amazingly strong contestants. Though Shana currently on the low position because of her SDO, one shouldn't forget how amazing she is. I personally call her the "Queen of ISML" for her amazing performance all these years. On the otherhand, Rin is currently holding the topmost position on Stella division. Is it enough to handle the Flame Haze? I don't think so. Shana is ridiculusly strong. You want Rin win? Call every anime lovers you know and ask them to vote Rin before you tell them to ask their friends. And I still think that's not enough. Not if you are up againts Shana. I'm sure Shana will come as the winner here.

There are still several great match. Yui vs Mio, Nadeko vs Saber, Taiga vs Illya. But... I'm tired man! Let's be honest. No one pays me for this. So, there is no reason to write all of them right?

Oh, looks who we got for Exhibition. Kinoshita Kyoudai! I always adore Yuuko-nee XD

Anyway, I have to work tomorrow and currently is already 11 PM. I need to sleep. Don't worry though, I'll make sure I put down the review of the result tomorrow. (Probably at night, but let's see what I can do)
