Anime, an Expensive Hobby

Hey, whassup guys?
It's not too long after my last post ^^ << Not quite sure about the grammar, but what the heck!

So, it maybe not a secret anymore that I'm one of those guys who love anime (and manga, and game also). I don't know since when I like anime, but I don't care about that anymore. As long as there are animes in this world that's enough for me. LOL

When you think about it, anime is not that expensive. If you want to watch animes, you can just download it over the internet. Yeah, if you don't know already (seriously, you don't know? Where have you been?!) you can get animes for free. The same goes to manga. You can get those for free. Well, they currently ban it now, but who knows until when this will goes. As for games, you can get them free "IF" you know where to look.

Hey, if it's like that, why the title's like that?
Yeah, that's what I used to think...
Everything change since several months ago. At that several month, I started to watch many animes. Before that time, I only watch one or two anime at a time, but now I can watch ten anime series at a same time (well, I don't mean watch them all at the "exact same time" though). And that my friend, is a turning point in my life.

Since that time I watch more animes than usual, read more manga than usual, also always use Japanese dub for many games when they are available. A little bit after that, I found that this hobby of mine will be one helluva expensive hobby. I started to bought some cosplay stuff, which I believe I've posted here before. That's cost me over 800k on one day. Really kill my wallet. And I haven't use it fully yet...

Another turning point is when I bought a set of Death Note Petite Nendoroid. My friend sell a set of 8, or 10, I forget. And I bought 6 of them, coz he promised me to give me a special edition for free if I bought 6. And then, since then I started to window shopping for Anime's Figure. It's getting worse when I went to Nippon Club no Hayutsuki.

I saw a lot of figure there. They're so great and cute. I love looking at them. Then somehow I started to think, "It will be great if I have those." And since that time, I started to plan to buy many figure. I already browse trough many sites and found out that the price is too much for me, especially after I bought my LCD TV.

Now, I'm currently looking things that may give me money regularly (Legal, of course). I really fall in love with those Figures. Especially Nendoroid. I want to buy Hirasawa Yui Nendoroid. It look's so cute >.< This Hobby, is really expensive when you think about it. But somehow, I can't ignore it. They're so damn cute >.<

Huff, this is Benard speking and see you on the next post!!
AAAAAAAAAANNNNNNDDDDDD CUT!!!

Haven't Cried Like This For The Last 5 Years

Well, yes, I cried. No, not because of something Important. Instead, it's only because of one damn good game. We'll talk about that later on.

You maybe curious why do I cry just because of a game. To start with, I'm quite an empath, or simply said a guy who can feel other people emotion. I don't know empath is a valid word or not, but, meh, I don't care ;p This trait of mine is really strong especially when the subject is a game or series or movie or novel, well mostly on fiction. I haven't gone through an experience in real world where I can tell whether I have empathy or not.

So, basically when I following a fictional media which have quite deep drama on it, I can literally feel what the character feels, especially the main character. When they feel sad, I feel sad. When they're uneasy, I feel uneasy too. This is also one of the reason why I can't play any RPG a few days after I finished Suikoden V which somehow have took me inside of it.

The game that made me cry recently was a visual novel called "Da Capo". It's just like the other VN. You are the main protagonist and have 5 or so number of girls you can choose to be your girlfriend. Simple, yet I like it. I only play one route and realize that this game have a great story. On my first play, I chose Asakura Nemu, main chara's sister, as my target. Yes, it's his own sister. Yes, it's incest. Yes, I know it's not good. But, what the heck. She's cute, she's sweet, and she's so adorable. Besides, it's just a game for God sake!! It's not a matter since it's fictional.

!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!
BEYOND THIS POINT IS A SPOILER OF ASAKURA NEMU'S PATH IN "DA CAPO"! IF YOU INTENDED TO PLAY THIS GAME AND DON'T WANT ANY SPOILER, DON'T READ PAST THIS POINT! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
