Overwatch's Tracer's Victory Pose Is Out of Character? Really?!

So, today I heard a weird news on PC Gamers. You see, Blizzard is currently holding an Open-Beta phase for their newest class based multiplayer, Overwatch. One of the characters in the game is a 26 year old high spirited girl, Tracer. I'm gonna skip on her ability and just skip to what important in this case; her personality. From what I've seen from cinematic trailer, gameplay video, and many sources in the internet (I haven't played it though), Tracer is a genki girl. She's very high spirited and playful. Some of her pose and movement also tell us (or me, to be exact) that she's also likes to do cool stuff.

And now, people complaining about her. Not about her as general, no. But complaining about one very specific victory pose. In that pose, Tracer stands with her back to the camera and her head looking at the camera.

One of the pose in the "How to Look Cool" handbook. So, what's wrong with it? Well, people said that the pose showing Tracer showing off her ass (a nice pair of ass). So it's over-sexualized? Eh, not really. Strangely enough, the reason why people complaining about this pose is because they think it is out of her character.

Wow, that's sounds like a legit reason the gaming community ever throw. But, wait. Is it really true though?

[E3 2013] Dead Rising 3 - "Open World Zombie Apocalypse"

Do you like zombies?
Who am I kidding? Everyone LOVE zombies! There's a reason why there are a lot of zombie-themed games, movies, and comic books out there and that reason is not Zombie is hated by people.
And I bet you love zombie too, right?
And possibly you've heard about one of those Zombie game, Dead Rising.

Dead Rising put you in the shoe of non-Zombie in the middle of area filled with zombies. You will reveal the mystery how this zombie outbreak happens. You will meet a lot of other survivors which may or may not useful for you. There are a lot of events too. There are boss battle, meeting survivors, or something that relevant to the story. But beware, all this are time strict which mean if you pass the supposed time, then you miss the event. In a lot of way this could mean 'hello, bad ending.'

And now, Dead Rising is back with Dead Rising 3. This latest installment will give you yet another new character which I can't remember the name. Dead Rising 3 will feature a huge open world area instead of a small like a mall in Dead Rising or some entertainment area in Dead Rising 2.

[E3 2013] Bayonetta 2 - "Short Hair Is Fine Too"

Several years ago, a previously unknown game developer, PlatinumGames, deliver what was the most sexy action game and launch the studio to become well known (I, for instance, has become a fan of their games). The game that I'm talking about is none other than "Bayonetta."

With a sexy action witch as the main character, Bayonetta able to become one of the best hack and slash video game in the market back then. Universal critical acclaims from critics raining down on the title praising the characters, story, battle, and the fast pace.

And finally, after a long wait, we able to see the trailer of the next installment of the series, "Bayonetta 2." Planned to be published by Nintendo, this game is exclusive for Wii-U. Don't hate Nintendo, please, because it was said that Nintendo is the one that offering PlatinumGames to make the sequel. Without them, there probably no "Bayonetta 2" now.

[E3 2013] The Division - "Tom Clancy Goes Online"

As an old timer in the world of video games, Tom Clancy has turn into a huge Intellectual Property (IP) spanning different number of platforms, title, and even genre. Though I doubt Tom Clancy himself still handling these games, the games still looks great and probably one of the biggest Military-themed IP out there.

With so much experience and firm ground to stand, the next installment of Tom Clancy series (other than the new Splinter Cell - Blacklist) will take it to the next level. Prepare yourself for "The Division"! This brand new title from Tom Clancy will be, like they said in the end of the demo, Online | Open World | RPG. Think of it as an MMORPG Shooter. Maybe you will frown thinking about this, but the demo looks great!

In the thickness of FPS games forest, a Third-Person Shooter is really refreshing.

The Division will use their favorite perspective which is Third-Person. This is a good choice considering the number of First Person Shooter out there starts to make me bored. The user interface using those futuristic UI seen on several other Tom Clancy titles such as Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. On the screenshot above you can see all the information you need to know ranging from remaining ammo, health, to other player status floating on the side of your character, not static on the screen like traditional UI. The menu is also in the same holographic manner. It floats around on your wrist. And when you select the menu you want to see, it will pop up in front of your character. Its not just sound cool, but it IS cool. It reminds me of the time I saw Dead Space II's inventory.

[E3 2013] Project Spark - "Let It Spark Your Imagination!"

Do you have an idea to create a game but don't know how to make it?
Do you want to play a game that you made yourself with your friend?

Remember how PS have RPG maker series that focused on creating RPG?
Or maybe LittleBigPlanet series that also on PS3?

Now, we have something bigger than those. Introducing a game where player "create" their own game at let other people play it, "Project Spark"! And by far, this is my favorite demo from day 1.

Make your own world!

Project Spark setting will be on fantasy world. Story? There's no such thing as story yet. Why? Because it's 'you', the player, that will be make the game! Said as Microsoft's answer to Sony's LittleBigPlanet, this Xbox One exclusive game give the freedom to player to create anything! Using Xbox One control mechanism such as Kinect and Smart Glass, player will be able to interact and change the world as they like.

[E3 2013] Plant vs Zombie: Garden Warfare - "Now in 3D!"

Remember a certain game several years ago that possibly bring zombies to the hand of casual gamers?
Yeah, it's 'Plant vs Zombie'!

Now in E3, they showcased a brand new Plant vs Zombie game subtitled "Garden Warfare" as a parody to "Modern Warfare" series. The title is true, however, since this game doesn't play like the original 'Plant vs Zombie.' No sir, it will not be a Tower Defense. Ah, sure, it still have a 'little' trace of tower defense, but that's it. The main game play will be like "Modern Warfare" though looks to me more like "Team Fortress 2" though (I haven't played TF2 btw).

Is this... Is this 3D??!!

 Yeah, it's nothing like the original. But I have to tell you, it's damn interesting! We play as the plants, now have the ability to walk around, to protect the house from zombies. But now, we control individual plant and play with friends to work together against the horde of undead army. We can use special weapons, which seems like other plants that not suited as player avatar, selected from the bottom right of the screen. If player press LB at the situation like above, the plant will throw a 'Chilli Bomb' which will roll for a while, and.......

KABOOM!

[E3 2013] Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - "Tactical Espionage Redefined"

Snake is back!
And this time, prettier than ever!
Please welcome Metal Gear Solid V - The Phantom Pain!

Likes it's every predecessor since Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Konami once again push the current available technology to the limit. Who can forget the stunning graphic of Metal Gear Ray on PS2 early days. It's not for several couple years until that level of graphic can be finally surpassed. And Konami answer that with MGS3: Snake Eater. When PS3 come out, I was surprised how beautiful MGS4: Guns of The Patriot is. It's graphic still impressed me when I finally able to play it for the first time last year (no budget to play it early). This is the proof that Konami and Hideo Kojima will never disappoint us with Metal Gear Solid, at least on art, story, and innovation department. And that's the expectation we have for MGS V.

We already heard about MGS: Ground Zeroes. What happen to that? Nothing. Nothing bad happen to it. Ground Zeroes will still released and MGS V will follow probably a year or two later. Using their brand new FOX Engine, the team behind MGS V able to deliver the most stunning graphic video games history ever seen yet. If that's how the final game will be, then I will not exaggerating when I said it is, "The most realistic looking video game" to date.

Sony Finally Reveals Playstation 4! And Gosh, It's Pretty!

Like every other year, this year E3 is not short of great news and games. The most anticipated news is of course Sony's PS4! It was announced on February but we haven't seen it yet, have we? Using this huge event as the stage, Sony finally step up and give us the look of their Next Generation Video Game Console.

 Lately, I've been wondering, "Was my decision to buy XBOX 360 back there wrong?"
Why did I ask that?
Okay, let's start from the beginning.

One and a half year ago, I started to feel that my PS2 and my then-really-really-crappy-and-old PC (aged almost 10 years without any upgrade) couldn't fulfill my gaming needs anymore. I was thinking to bought one of the Next Gen Console, but stuck with one simple yet crucial question. XBOX 360 or PS3? (FYI, I've never consider to buy WII at all so far).

Ehem, so right now I believe that most of you know that I was, am, and will always be a hardcore gamer. My focus right now is on my beloved X-BOX 360, Extee (Just named it ;p Its from X and T XD). I also love PC games, but right now my time and also Lappie is not enough and can't handle it. So, I must be happy with my Extee, although I only get the chance to play it from Friday noon to Sunday Night. Other times? Too bad, but I still have class in my college >.<

Haven't Cried Like This For The Last 5 Years

Well, yes, I cried. No, not because of something Important. Instead, it's only because of one damn good game. We'll talk about that later on.

You maybe curious why do I cry just because of a game. To start with, I'm quite an empath, or simply said a guy who can feel other people emotion. I don't know empath is a valid word or not, but, meh, I don't care ;p This trait of mine is really strong especially when the subject is a game or series or movie or novel, well mostly on fiction. I haven't gone through an experience in real world where I can tell whether I have empathy or not.

So, basically when I following a fictional media which have quite deep drama on it, I can literally feel what the character feels, especially the main character. When they feel sad, I feel sad. When they're uneasy, I feel uneasy too. This is also one of the reason why I can't play any RPG a few days after I finished Suikoden V which somehow have took me inside of it.

The game that made me cry recently was a visual novel called "Da Capo". It's just like the other VN. You are the main protagonist and have 5 or so number of girls you can choose to be your girlfriend. Simple, yet I like it. I only play one route and realize that this game have a great story. On my first play, I chose Asakura Nemu, main chara's sister, as my target. Yes, it's his own sister. Yes, it's incest. Yes, I know it's not good. But, what the heck. She's cute, she's sweet, and she's so adorable. Besides, it's just a game for God sake!! It's not a matter since it's fictional.

Summer is Coming!! And Here I Am to Get All The Prizes!!

Well, frankly my country, Indonesia, doesn't have 4 season. So there are no Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter. We only have Rainy and Drought. Kinda too bad, but I don't care much about this.

So what's this prize all about?
You see... Northern Hemisphere Summer season is the best 3 month in a year!! And why is that? Of course because of the damn long holiday and a great amount of it's companion! I'm talking about Summer Blockbuster, New Game, and new Anime!! Well, some of them is not really connected... The point is, I'm on holidays and have a plenty entertainment with me!

Let's talk about it one by one. Hmmm.... Where should we start? Ah, Summer Blockbuster! What do we have around here? Let's see... We have Splice, Toys Story 3, Inception, Despicable Me, The Last Airbender (which people said sucks), and a lot more!! (I'm too lazy to check my list so this will be all ;p) I've already watch Splice and Toys Story 3. Both were really Great! SPLICE is Science Fiction Thriller Character Driven Movie. While Toys Story 3 is a Story Driven with little Character Driven Movie. I plan to watch Inception this noon. People said it's a great movie. I hope they right...

Next is about New Game! I've been waiting for long holiday especially because of this. In normal days, I only touch my X-Box 360 on Saturday and Sunday, because I'm not at home on the other days. Now, in this holiday I've prepared quite number of games! Some of them are leftover from the other days, where I already bought them but haven't play them yet (My little brother is so lucky to have me as a brother...). I'm currently playing Ninety-Nine Nights 2 and Lego:Harry Potter Year 1-4. On my list are Resonance of Fate, Red Dead Redemption, Record of Agarest War, Toy Story 3, NIER, Transformer : War of Cybertron, Metro 2033, The Saboteur, Alien versus Predators, and Battlefield 2 : Bad Company... Fyuh, that's quite a lot. I'm not quite sure I can finish them all or not... Well, let the time tells then!!

The last one is about anime. I promised to give some reviews for Spring animes. I will try to do that. Meanwhile, the summer anime is already sailing on the port. They're here! Well, one thing to be happy is K-On!! S02 will have 26 episodes! That's mean it will be on the list until the end of Summer!! YAY!! So, we have some good animes for this summer. We have High School of The Dead, Amagami SS, Ookami-san to Shichinin Nakamatachi, and Nurarihyon no Mago. Those are already on my list with top Priorities. I haven't check on other titles yet, so I can't comment much on them. Expect me to watch them before next week...

You see? That's the prizes I'm talkin' about!! Hell yeah! Three Months of Holiday with one big Ship full of entertainment!! To make things more beautiful, I have something new on my room! Guess what? A brand new HD Ready 32" LCD TV!!! That's freakin' cool man!! I already try few animes on that and the result were awesome!! I will watch anime on that big screen for all holiday!! See, What else do I need? (Well, I do need a girlfriend right now (-_-))

I've catch a Hydra mouse with Ship Blueprint (And triple strike on my first try, which give my friend a headache XD)
I build the ship and set sail for 3 days before finally reach the Tribal Isle...

Now, what happen in trible Isle?
I've been there for about two week for now...
In that two weeks I managed to create HVMT
HVMT (Horrific Venus Mouse Trap) is the strongest Tactical trap available...
Now I'm collecting Savoury Vegetable to create Gumbo Cheese to trap Big Three mouse on Nerg plain who drop Yellow Pepper Seed...
I need those seed for Jungle of Dread...

Seems complicated?
Yes!!
Mouse Hunt is a complicated game!
And that's what make this game so addictive!!

Tired of Supernatural Mouse? Let's go to the Big Tree!! Or Maybe not....

Well, on Mouse Hunt lately I've been hunting on Catacombs.
It last for around 3 weeks or so (maybe longer than that)
Well, it's true that I get more gold and more points.
But, somehow I'm bored there. Especially when time like my RB cheese run out.
Well, that's really frustrating.

So what do I do? I went to the Great Gnarled Tree.
I was planning to collect some Gnarled Potion there.
The Result? Not good.
You see, the drop rate of Gnarled Potion is very, very low.
Besides, the mouses there give less gold and less point than Catacombs.
(Well, everyone knows Catacombs is the best place to farming for gold)

Right now I'm getting bored of GGT and misses the catacombs...
Well, I think I'll go back there to farm more gold before returning to GGT.

As for you guys who doesn't know what I'm blabbering about, shame on you!
I'm talking about Mouse Hunt, one of the most popular game on Facebook.

ALL TIME GAME HEROES

Yaaaaayyyy...... Kenapa lagi gw teriak? Anyway, gini ceritanya. Gamespot, situs penyedia informasi video games terbesar di internet sedang mengadakan event. Event ini diberi nama "ALL TIME GREATEST VIDEO GAMES HEROES" (panjang bgt yak). Event ini ditujukan untuk memilih siapakah hero game terhebat dalam dunia game.

So, gimana cara milihnya? Gak terlalu ribet sebenernya. Dia nandingin 64 chara 1 on 1. Nah, misal nih, si A dan si B bertanding di 1st round. Nah, antara A dan B, yg votenya lebih banyak selama masa vote bakal menang dan maju ke round berikutnya. Trus 2nd round kembali lagi seperti itu.

Selesai sampe di situ?? Nggak! Masih ada lagi. Kalo cuma kayaq di atas, itu mah udah sering. Udah biasa lagi!! Di event luar biasa Gamespot ini, kita diberikan kesempatan buat menebak atau memprediksi hasil dari setiap pertandingan dari awal sampai ke juara. Trus apa gunanya? Setelah kamu memilih calon pemenang dari setiap pertandingan (dan tentunya setelah di save) nanti akan prediksi kamu akan di cek. Lalu, setiap prediksi yg kamu buat akan dibandingkan dengan hasil voting. Nanti, member yg prediksinya paling banyak benar akan menang dan dapat berbagai hadiah!

Beberapa heroes yg masuk dalam 64 daftar adalah Snake, Dante, Cloud, The Prince (POP), PacMan, Kratos, Mario, Ryu Hayabusa, Leon S. Kennedy, The Apprentice (Force Unleash), Link, Samus Aran, Sonic, Megaman, Master Chief, and Dig Dug (what?! He's in the list??!! I bet half of you don't even know who the hell he is!!). Masih ada lebih banyak lagi yg akan ditandingkan.

Melihat kemungkinan terjadinya sebuah "Cross-Over Short Story" dalam event ini, gw berencana akan membuat sebuah fan-fic yang mempertandingkan heroes ini dengan outcome sesuai dengan hasil vote. Gak semua battle akan gw ceritain. Gak mungkin kan gw nyeritain pertandingan antara dig Dug dengan Master Chief!! Udah langsung ketauan tuh siapa yg menang. Nanti setelah 1st round tutup (5 sept), gw akan ngebuat sebuah short story tokoh yg keren dalam bahasa Inggris. Semoga gw berhasil yah. Mohon dukungannya.

OE Cake - Main Software aneh Gak Jelas Tapi Asik banget!!!!!

Oke, 2 hari ini gw sibuk ngurusin software baru n mantep bgt ini. Bukan baru keluar, tapi baru punya. Namanya OE-Cake!!

So, OE Cake ini ngapain?? Well, untuk simplenya, software ini punya kemampuan untuk mensimulasikan berbagai hukum2 fisika. Masih gak ngerti?? Hmmm..... Contohnya apa yah?? Air mengalir..... Proses pembakaran..... Etc.... Etc.....

Gw kasih beberapa contohnya nih ya:

Yg ini contoh air yg mengalir. Gak terlalu keliatan sih, soalnya cuma still image....




Klo yg Ini proses penguapan. Dari Air jadi uap air. Sebenernya ada proses pengembunan, cuma gak gw kasih gambar di sini..



Klo yg ini proses pembakaran. Gw kasih gedung buat dibakar di contoh ini. Betul2 keren! Kita bisa masukin gambar buat jadi komponen di software ini.





Nah, yg ini favorit gw. Dark Matter..... Ini harus dibuat dengan menggabungkan beberapa elemen, yaitu Gas, Inflow(penghasil), dan outflow(lubang penghisap segala. Seperti saluran keluar atau mungkin Black hole). Hasilnya? Sebuah gas yg trus berkembang dan dapat menghancurkan segala yg disentuh. Keren bgt loh kalo di coba sama gedung!! Tpi ini gw tes sama penghasil air yg mampu menahan gas selama 4-5 menit....

Dean Winchester di The Sims 3!!

Semua uda tw kan kalo The Sims 3 uda keluar? Sekarang nih game jadi salah satu game favorit gw. Di game The Sims 3, sistem Create a Sims nya makin yahud! Bisa adavance n bikin muka jadi lebih asyik. Nah, Belom lama ini (tepatnya 1/2 jam sebelum ini di post) gw nyoba bikin Dean Winchester versi Sim. Dean tuh chara di series Supernatural. Gw nyoba2 bikin ampe 2 jam, tapi entah kenapa gak mirip2 jadinya. Nih Screenshotnya :





Nah, ada yg bisa bantuin gw gak buat bikin nih sim jadi lebih mirip sama karakter aslinya???
Klo pingin utak atik, bisa di donlod di sini.

The Sims 3 bocor loh!!!!!!

The Sims 3 bocor???? Harus cepet2 ditambal biar gak basah!!!!!! hehehehe....

Siapa sih yg gak tau sama game the sims??? Kecuali yg gak pernah maen game mungkin gak tau sih. Sekedar keterangan singkat aja. The Sims tuh game Life Simulation, dimana kita berperan sebagai orang yg ngendaliin kehidupan player yg kita buat sendiri. Di game ini, kita bisa nyuruh Sims(tokoh yg kita buat) kita buat ngelakuin kegiatan sehari2 kayaq orang biasa... Kerja, makan, mandi (eits, di sensor koq), tidur, dst, dsb, dll....

Sepanjang hidupnya, Sims uda nelorin 2 Seri, yg masing2 punya banyak anak yg namanya Expansion Pack. Bisa dibilang Sims tuh game simulation paling sukses deh di dunia ini.... Penggemarnya banyak banget, cewe aja banyak yg suka (yg cowo denger tuh. Coba main nih game buat deketin cewe^^).

Nah, The Sims 3 bakal jauh lebih bagus, lingkungan terhubung dengan rumah, Create-A-Sims jadi lebih detail jadi bisa bikin persis sama kita, Pas baca koran beritanya bisa kita baca (yg ini gak guna banget), dsb. Rencananya nih game keren bakal keluar bulan Juni besok. Namun, somehow, nih game udah terlanjur bocor ampe luber kemana2. Gak tau kapan persisnya bocor, tpi yg pasti hari ini temen gw uda mulai main. Jadi lo semua gak perlu nunggu lama2 lagi! Eit, gw gak akan kasih linknya. Cari sendiri yah! Tapi pasti uda banyak yg tau harus nyarinya kemana ^^.
