Persona 4 The Animation - First Glimpse Review

 Persona 4 : The Animation

I've been waiting for this anime since I first hear the info on the late 2010. If you don't know what Persona is, just sit down and relax. I will give you some (hopefully) spoiler-less info. Persona is a series of games from Atlus and somehow still a part of Shin Megami Tensei series. The story is about fighting monster with a power called Persona, the other side of one self.

This the main protagonist, Yuu. 'Yuu' played him on the game.

Narukami Yuu (the main protagonist of the game, known as Souji Seta on the manga) is more-or-less ordinary boy. He has to moved to live with his uncle, Doujima, and his daughter, Nanako. He will lived there for a year because his parents need to go abroad for work. With a tendency of bringing bad lucks (like a certain Detective I know about), on Yuu's first day on school there was an accident of a local news reporter get killed on a weird position. That aside, on that city, there are an Urban Legend called Midnight Channel. The legend say that if you turn on your TV on static on a rainy night at midnight, you will saw the love of your life, or so they say. This story was told to Yuu by his new friends at school, Chie and Yuusuke. With somehow nothing to do, Yuu, out of curiosity (or maybe get trolled by his friends), tried out this legend. What happens next? He saw someone there! When he saw that person, he try some stupid thing. He try to get inside the TV.... Lame, yes. Every child nowadays have tried that at least once and find the hard truth that TV is not passable. But, not for Yuu this time! His hand went right trough the screen and started to get sucked inside. Luckily, he managed to pull his hand out before anything bad happens. When he told this to his friends on the next day, they got into one idiotic conclusion. They should try on bigger TV. Well, and then they found a bigger TV and try that again (despite the fact that Yuu tried that on Midnight Channel before, not in the middle of afternoon). And it happens again, his hand went through! Yuu pushed his luck and try to look inside the TV. When half of his body disappear inside the TV, Chie and Yuusuke got a panic attack and slipped which in turn fell to Yuu and push all of them inside the TV......

Fansubbers Going for Hi10P (10-bit)

Of course, what else fansubbers related to??

As an anime lover (I didn't used Otaku since in Japan it's have a negative meaning) I always feel grateful to any fansubber out there who have sacrifice their precious time to give sub to us who want to watch anime without the need of knowing a lot of Japanese.

If you are quite an anime lover, then you can skip to the next part.
If you are not, and still want to read this post, fansubber is a group of somewhat diligent people who rip an anime on the exact air-date, translate the dialog, and put subtitle on it. They sure help a lot of people (minus them self, because it mostly didn't help them at anything, instead it put more work on them).

Rating Standard on My Review

I've decided to put more review on my blog.
Which will give some positive things!
1. You will get more things to read
2. You will get some suggestion for movies, anime, and games
3. More people will come to my blog!!

Awesome!!

But then again, there always be a downside of everything.
1. I need to write more (obviously)
2. I need to take more screenshots
3. I need to upload more images
4. I need to read, watch, play more

For number one, it's obvious right?
No further comment then.
About screenshot, yes, I'm not really like to take screenshot.
But for you guys, I (maybe) will (try) to take screenshot on the go.
That means while I first time play/watch, (maybe) I will take my time to take screenshots.
Number three is the direct result of number two.
The screenshots mean nothing if I didn't put it somewhere, right?
Number four!!
Maybe you ask, is this positive or negative point.
But for my current condition, this is a downside.
Currently I don't really have much time, so more play, read, or watch means more time taken.
Darn, I always wish I can clone myself or stop time or doesn't need sleep at all.
Seems like Kage Bunshin and Time Control are two favorite abilities to have for guys with huge ambition.

I'm here want to talking about rating system, am I?

So here it is.
I've created my own rating system which I reckon more accurate than 10 points system and more understandable than 100 points system while easier to read than grade system.

Review? Not time restricted, right?

 If you see some of my (really, really) old post, you maybe realize that in the past I used to write some review about.... Anything. And lately... No. And yes, partly because I'm making excuse that "I'm busy right now" while I simply being lazy. But, that's not the end of the story. You see, maybe some of my friend already know this but I'm kinda perfectionist. I will not do something if not everything is ready. That's one reason why I haven't write any review in a really really long time.

So, here's the case. I watch some movie. I think it's good and want to write a review. But, currently I have something on my hands. So, I decided to write it later. When I finally have time to write, it's been quite long and everybody (well, the truth is not everybody) have watch it. So, I think there no need for any review anymore.

Here's another case. I play some game. I thought it's a good game and want to write some review. By the time I finished that game, it already become an old game. So, I decided not to write anything.

Such a pity, eh? That's lame excuse all right. But, lately, I've been thinking differently.
When I thought more about it, review is not time restricted. There are lot of people who haven't watch the movie or play the game yet, and they are trying to find some info whether it worth to buy or not.

So, from now on, when I think about a review, I'll write it. I don't care whether it's old or not. Heck, who care about what I write, no?

DBX has finally been formed!

In the last few weeks, me and two of my friends have been discussed on creating a VN for Vienetta 2011. It's a VN competition in Indonesia. After a long thought and discussion, we decided that this cooperation should last longer than just this. And so, we in the end created a group called DBX - D Broken Xoul.

What? You feel like you have heard the name somewhere? Of course you have! It's my email! Yeah, so the one that propose the name was me Benard aka mrbenz. But we slightly change the name. The original name was D Broken Soul. But, one of us complained and we changed the 'S' with 'X'.

So, DBX currently consist of three people, mrbenz, darcangel, and xortimus.The three of us live in Indonesia and so far haven't meet each other face-to-face. Yeah, most (if not all) of our discussion are done online. Oh, if I haven't tell you before, darcangel is the only girl on our team. It's kinda rare for me to find a girl who like anime and stuff. By the way, she's also a hardcore gamer. If you happen to meet a nickname like that on the net, that's probably her, if not me. Back in the day, there was time where we argue who should use the name. Accidentally, I also use the same nickname for many of my games. That cause a big debate back then. In the end, she's the one using that name, since I already have mrbenz as a nickname. >.<

Currently, our first project is called "The Last Show" it's a Kinetic Novel which we intended to submit for Vienetta 2011. In the near future, we will also launch our own blog to submit progress and information and as a place where you guys can contact us.

For me, the music is kind of good I like it.

Darn Real Life!!

Well, truth be told, I've been busy with a lot of task and project in my RL.
Yeah, if you're wondering, I still have Real Life you know~
So, no report on the ISML yet. Sorry 'bout that.

And to top that, I will have exam for the next 2 weeks!!
Awwwww....... It sucks, isn't it??

Anyway, you see, I haven't seen any anime for a lot of time now.
Yet, Spring is ending, and Summer is right in front of my eyes!!
What are we gonna do??
Well, I simply need to prepare a lot of anime, and watch them on holiday!
