ISML 2011 - Topaz 5 - It's a Warzone!!!!

THIS
IS
WHAT
I
WAS
TALKING
ABOUT
ON
MY
LAST
POST
!!!!

Yeah, the next round is really worth it!
It's really shocked me when I saw the list.
It's literally a W-A-R-Z-O-N-E!!!!

Why did I say that?
The match list, IS-JUST-UBELIEVABLE!!
Every damn match that you think will be a great match will be on yesterday's round!!
Here's the list!!

Long? But it worth to see. Trust me~

ISML Topaz Period Round 4!!

 AT LAST!!
Something that worth to be predicted!
I won't keep this long, so let's get to the prediction!!

First, let's see Ui vs Saber.
Why I choose those two for prediction?
Simple, both position are in the middle (IIRC).
And both have their quite few yet strong supporters on this ISML.
Ui is quite popular that she's the only one contestant from K-On that not a member of HTT.
Too bad that somehow she doesn't have a lot of fans.
Seems it's due to her low appearance chance. (I like her so much >.<)
For Saber, she's the main char of FSN and often rivaled by Rin from the same series.
Yet, from what I saw last year, her supporter is not that many.
Don't know why...
So, my prediction? Based on my experience on the last ISML, Saber will out as the winner.
T^T

What next? How about Konata vs Eucliwood?
Konata really have a big supporters out there.
Or at least those that I often share idea about ISML are mostly support Konata (if the enemy is not really favored).
Eucliwood this year really get a huge vote. A great feat for a newbie.
The question is, who will come out as the winner??
Will they prefer Eucliwood rather than Konata??!!
My prediction? Eucliwood strife out as the winner.
NEXT!!

Hitagi vs Rin!
Something worth to be predicted?
Well, for me it's quite a questionable question.
Let's see...
Hitagi, doing really good at first on 2010 but ends on middle position.
Rin, her power has decreased from times to times.
Both are on middle position, so let's predict it!
Hitagi!!
That's who I think will be the winner.

And the last!!
Fate vs Kanade!!
Fate Testarossa, the Bearer of Heavenly Tiara 2008.
As former champion, people expect her to be really strong, no?
But the truth is, because she haven't got any anime lately (or maybe I'm missing those),
her power is decreasing. Still formidable for some, but not to be really scared of for others.
And her opponent is Kanade, the Queen of Newbie for this year.
This will be really though for Fate.
For her to win on another ISML is a really hard task.
Her opponents are really strong this year.
As for Kanade, I bet it's will be an easy win.
Her power is overflowing all over the places, can't say much except she's the one who will win this battle.

Ah, I think that's all for today.
No read more this time, it's not that long anyway.
So, may the moest do the best!!

This is Benard reporting, see you on the next post!!

Topaz Period Is Ongoing!!

Sorry for late update...
I've been busy with some flash game project.
Not my personal object, but a request from someone.
Not bad for some extra money.
It can cover my expense for Asakura Nemu's Nendroid ^^

Anyway, back to ISML 2011.
Because of that Project, I was unable to post anything here.
One thing for sure, TOPAZ PERIOD is running now!!
Yippee!!
I haven't looked at current rank yet, so I can't tell much.

For prediction that have been missed...
Trust me on this, the last 2 round was not that hard.
I even confused for some time as there were no match that worth to be predicted.
Most matches has certain win back there.

IDK for the third match in Topaz, but seems not too hard also.
Will I put the prediction??
I don't know. It's all depends on whether I think there are any worthwhile match or not.

Oh, and one more thing.
For those who have Twitter account, let's support ISML with #ISML and #ISML2011
I really hope it can become a trending topic worldwide one day.^^

ISML 2011 Aquamarine Necklace Result!!

So, last post was talking about prediction!
Is my prediction correct or not??
What I can say is my prediction is half-correct!
What does that mean?
Before I further explain that one, let's see the picture of the Necklace Winner of this Aquamarine period!

ISML 2011 Aquamarine Necklace Winner
Misaka Mikoto

So, how is the full result?
And what do I mean by "half-correct"?

ISML 2011 - Aquamarine Necklace Showdown

Okay!! Today is the first-ever ISML Necklace Showdown!!
You can check up what is this all about on it's official website!
But, before we move on to the Necklace Showdown, why don't we check up the result from the last round and see how far my prediction go?

Firstly is Mio X Shana, with win for Shana by around 100-200 margins. I'm glad Shana was win, but kinda sad that my prediction was a miss. T^T Talking about irony...

Next, let's check Kirino X Taiga. My prediction was a win for Kirino. The result was stunning, as Taiga beat Kirino out with around 1600 margins!! That's what we get when a newbie Tsundere meet a big Tsundere (with distinct "Urusai!" of course~).

What about Hitagi X Haruhi? What I said on my prediction was right. If we talking about fanbase, Haruhism is never die! Especially againts a Tundra LOL. The goddess slam Hitagi with around 1100 margins.

Let's move to the battle of promising Newbie, Eucliwood X Kanade. Despite standing on first place on the last standing, she was literally flattened out by our tenshi with an atonishing 2200 margins! And here I was thinking Eu could stand on the same place with Kanade...

Talking about "Close Call", our last match is the one to discuss. Mikoto X Azusa ends with margins ONLY 8 votes for Mikoto. And just like I said on my prediction, because of this tight result, Azusa is ineligible for Aquamarine Necklace.

Done with the result!!
Don't forget with the vote today!!
"What about the prediction?"
Rest assured, I just wanted to start by now~

Any Spaces for Another Console?

Lately, I've been wondering, "Was my decision to buy XBOX 360 back there wrong?"
Why did I ask that?
Okay, let's start from the beginning.

One and a half year ago, I started to feel that my PS2 and my then-really-really-crappy-and-old PC (aged almost 10 years without any upgrade) couldn't fulfill my gaming needs anymore. I was thinking to bought one of the Next Gen Console, but stuck with one simple yet crucial question. XBOX 360 or PS3? (FYI, I've never consider to buy WII at all so far).

What?! Mio vs Shana!!?? (Aquamarine 7 Prediction)

Okay Guys!! Back with the ISML 2011!!
Remember my last post about ISML with some prediction on it?
Guess what? As the result has already been out, I've crosscheck my prediction with the result and from 8 prediction 6 were right!!
Those that I miss are Yuki-Haruhi and Mikoto-Taiga.
Yuki came out as the winner and Mikoto win with around 600 vote margin.
But hey, 4716 and 4176 is quite looks alike right? So my prediction is not entirely wrong XD

Same Old, Same Old + Several Spring Anime 2011 Quick Review

Yeah, same old, same old...
One post per month.
Are you fuc*ing serious?!
Yeah, that's me and my laziness... Never gonna know when it will seize out.

Well, some info need to be updated.

FIRST!! The International Saimoe 2011 (ISML 2011) has gone into Main Season. Currently it's on the 5th phase of Aquamarine Period. For those who doesn't know ISML, simply put it's All-time female anime characters popularity contest. If you don't really get it, JFGI. Don't know what JFGI means? Have you try Google??
On this 4th ISML, new characters (obviously) have found their way to Main Season. Some are your new favorite, while others just get more vote than the other. To no surprise 3 cute girl from Ore no Imouto (Kirino, Kuroneko, Ayase) manage to get through, and to no surprise also almost all HTT member (except for Ritsu) managed to get in again plus Ui (substituting Ritsu place I guess).
Well, I guess it's fun to keep track on this ISML again. Maybe I'll try to give you some inside if there any change or notable news. And for Indonesian people reading this, you can discuss it on IDWS forum. I'm the Topic Starter for ISML thread twice in a row. (In fact, I'm the one making this event famous on IDWS). Maybe I'll get to it someday.

SECOND!! New season has begun as well as new animes. For those who don't know, I didn't watch any Winter anime at all. Somehow I failed to do so. But this season, I've back to anime's world. Here's some that I suggest you should watch and some reason why.

- Nichijou (Unbearably funny with a lot of excellent exaggeration)
- Tiger & Bunny (A good Superhero anime using a lot of 3DCG)
- Steins;Gate (A good Hard Sci-Fi anime. So? I'm a sci-fi fans. Period.)
- SKET DANCE (Funny on it's own way and different than Nichijou. Simply said, funny as hell!)
- TWGOK S2 (Duh, do I need to tell you? The manga is great, why don't we watch it?)
- C - The Money of Soul and Possibility Control (The name is so long, yet the concept is so great. Think of it as Digimon + credit Card)
- Deadman Wonderland (Have a really nice concept and kinda gore. Fu*k you censors!!)
- Hidan no Aria (Kugumiya Rie is on it. You don't like it? Urusai, urusai, urusai!!)
- Dog Days (Nekomimi and Inumimi heaven. Great battle by the way.)

That's what I've watched so far. I've been planning to watch other titles, but haven't managed to do so. Also prepared to get my full review in a week or two.

THIRD!! That's all I think....

This is Benard reporting, see you on the next post!!
